The diagnosis of a single-neuron mutant

I have long wondered whether Donald J. Trump suffers from paranoid schizophrenia or malignant narcissism or he owns the best qualities of both.
People with paranoid delusions are unreasonably suspicious of others. This can make it hard for them to hold a job, run errands and even to appoint and cancel several times a meeting with the president of any country word wild.
On the other hand, the malignant narcissists act as they think they need to act to get what they want. If you confront them with their lies, they simply repeat until true. And they will say anything they want. And it’s proved many time, there is no need to extract examples now.
But the Trump’s pathology is mush more complicated.
And here from it comes:
He is being particularly intelligent or bright or practical or disciplined and never had actually worked at a real job He is not making rational and logical decisions and has no patience or aptitude for reading or absorbing information.
Raised by a racist father who was an absolutely unscrupulous businessman, who would resort to anything and hurt anyone just to make a buck, a father who alternately indulged and pressured him to succeed.
He is showing an extreme need for obeisance.
He was put  in top schools without meriting the placement or having to put in a lick of work at said schools.
Got a lot of media attention over the years and was convinced that he can easily make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, as the saying goes, when it comes to concealing his business failures.
During lots of years he avoided the prosecution for not paying employees, breaking contracts, frauds, suspicious movement of funds and so on.
He had an utter contempt for just about everyone, especially women, as far inferior to him, and that he can adeptly manipulate and deceive them.
He is showing deep and inside  contempt against the poor people, the middle class and anyone of colour or any identifiable ethnic or religious group.
He is not  caring if his supporters are white supremacists or thugs, as long as he receives what he wants.
And last but not least he is not giving a shit what happens to anyone - especially the United States.
As you see the pathology is too complicated to be defined. In my opinion we have lots of physical and neurological signs of both diagnosis, but which is dominating? Or we have a brand new clinical diagnosis?Bad witch. New world. New times. Mutation. Feels alright.

Got a new face, it feels alright

As a big fan of horror I follow impatiently the new wave of political chaos in Britain. The destabilised UK government is entering into state of emergency. The PM Theresa May was hit by a double Cabinet resignation within 24 hours, losing both her Foreign Secretary and the chief Brexit negotiator.
Last night Mrs May appointed Jeremy Hunt , ex Health Minister an her faithful slave, backer of soft Brexit as the new face of Foreign Secretary. And this is to reaffirm the faltering authority to carry out negotiations with Brussels. This turbulent political situation is again showing the unstable Europe’s island neighbour.
This last release of Brexit drama I may label Cast the die of a leadership bid and will in all likelihood challenge the prime minister to seize the fruit of his ambition which devours him.
Bad witch. New world. New times. Mutation. Feels alright. The Brexit dream is dying.

The trade war began II

There are also European goods - steel and aluminium - which are also subject to an additional 25% duty.
Meanwhile, Beijing's attempts to form a common front with the European Union against the US president's policy have failed. After meetings of senior Chinese officials with European leaders in Brussels and Berlin, these proposals were rejected.
The Chinese will ask the EU to file a joint action against them with the United States at the World Trade Organisation, and also to come up with a joint document after the EU-Chinese leaders meeting on 16-17 July in Beijing.

Instead, Beijing is likely to open up its European investment economy and curb bans on entire sectors that are currently in place.
After this denial of China, it remains only a weapon against American myths - a devaluation of the yuan. China's central bank cut the yuan to the dollar before the introduction of tariffs.

The trade war began I

So, the trade war began, starting at 00:01 GMT today. The US has imposed tariffs on Chinese goods worth $34B, with Beijing reacting imposing an equal measure, with tariffs of 25% on a $34 billion list of US goods that includes 818 products like soybeans, pork, electric vehicles, air planes, hard drives, but excluding some popular goods such as mobile phones or TVs.
US President Donald Trump confirmed yesterday to journalists that the tariffs are in force today. He expressed readiness for a sharp escalation of the possible trade war between the two largest economies in the world.Beijing promises to repel the strike quickly with duties on American goods of the same value. The country is forced to give a "necessary answer", but does not specify what the nature of this response will be, but Chinese duties are expected to affect agricultural commodities such as the soybean that the Chinese market is very dependent on. Customs may also affect the automotive sector and marine products.
With the imposition of duties the United States and China have produced the first shots in the trade war.

Aussie above 0.74 ahead of NFP

After yesterday’s quite consolidation mode today AUD/USD is trading higher, up with 0.33% and current market price 0.7411. Despite the upbeat US ISM non-manufacturing PMI and the latest FOMC meeting minutes, which reconfirmed Fed’s tightening policy, the US Dollar was set under selling pressure. Meanwhile the trade war sentiments and the slump in copper prices coundn’t affect the ongoing positive momentum.
Technically speaking the short term outlook remains neutral to bullish. Ont he four hour time frame the price is developing above its flat moving averages. RSI is located above its mid-line but has lost directional strength. Stochastic is showing strong bullish momentum and is nearing oversold readings.
First bullish target is provided by the weekly high at 0.7425 followed by the psychological handle at 0.7500. The downside is supported by 0.7380 and lower at 0.7335.
Today the NFP data is due and the Unemployment rate and Average Hourly Earnings data. The first event is going to be the main markets driver and will bring higher volatility, so it’ll be interesting to observe breakouts.

USD/JPY Risk of bearish extention below 110.15

USD/JPY is trading lower today, down with 0.04% with current market price 110.50. The US dollar is losing strength as US Treasury yields and marking weekly lows while the Japanese Yen received a boost by the June Markit Services PMI.
Technically speaking the short-term outlook remains neutral to bearish. On the four hour time frame the price is developing between its moving averages, all of them staying flat.
RSI stands around mid-line and lacks directional strength. Stochastic has retreated from its overbought readings and now is showing strong bullish momentum.
Strong support is located at 110.10 – 110.20, while the pair is pushing above the 100-day SMA, which is developing within this area but as mentioned above is staying flat and is looking for direction. In case bears succeed to make a breakthrough this level, then will gather strength to lead the pair towards 109.90 or lower at 109.50.

GBP/USD Above 1.3200 on upbeat UK PMI data

GBP/USD is trading up with 0.11% at around 1.3208 today after excellent UK PMI numbers. The US  dollar is taking a break to celebrate the Independence Day and thus the Sterling received additional boost.
Technically speaking the short-term outlook remains neutral to bullish. On the four hour time frame the price is developing between its moving averages and currently is stuck between the flat 50-day and 100-day SMA and daily low coincides with the bullish 20-day SMA. RSI is located slightly above its mid-line and is aiming south. Stochastic is seen within extreme oversold area and is also starting to turn bearish.
The 1.3215 – 1.3220 zone now is acting as first resistance and in case if broken next bullish target is seen at the 1.3300 hurdle. On the other hand the today’s up move is not sustainable having the readings on the same chart. Immediate support is provided by the 1.3160 level which is broken, we may expect the downfall to continue towards 1.3100 handle.
