Facebook stepped up to fact checking in fight
against the fake news.
The social network has been criticised many times for being a distribution
point of fake news.
Lots of people think that namely Facebook influenced the US elections in 2016
which later became huge political topic.
On Thursday FB unveiled „Related Articles” that should provide additional
information and outlook on stories being shared on news feeds. The articles
will appear below the topic many users are talking about. Fact checking also
will be supported additionally by Snopes and PolitiFact.
Meanwhile Facebook is one of the best performers large cap stocks in the market
with stocks rate up with 47% this year to around $168
per share. Last weeks’s close was at 169.62+1.03 (+0.61%).
