31% rise in Lego's first-half net profit

The Danish toy manufacturer Lego reported a 31 % jump in profit for the first half of the year  and 23% revenue growth.
The revenue in the first half of 2015 increased by 18% compared with the same period last year measured in local currency (i.e. excluding the impact of foreign exchange rate changes).
Lego states that almost all its markets enjoyed double-digit growth, but in Asia it is the largest.
The company said that its net profit rose to 3.55 billion Danish kroner ($538.2) in the first six months of the year. For comparison, during the same period last year the amount was 2.72 billion DKK.
The sold toys for the fist half of the year worth 14.14 billion Kronor.
Lego said the rise in earnings was boosted by strong sales of Lego Ninjago and Lego Elves sets, but also the weakness of the Danish krone and the euro against most major currencies.
Lego, which is owned by the most wealthy Danish family, expects its sales to continue to grow in 2015.
